Thomas Russell Yoakum
August 18, 1967 – March 9, 2025

Thomas Russell Yoakum, age 57, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Azle, Texas. Born in Tampa, Florida, on August 18, 1967, Thomas was a man who loved working with his hands, building hot rods, and racing cars. He was especially known for his skill and artistry in painting high-end vehicles.
He spent many years working alongside his late father, Thomas Yoakum, and grandfather, Troy Yoakum, in the family business—T&T Body Shop—where a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication was carried through the generations.

Thomas is survived by his loving son, Derek Thomas Yoakum; daughter-in-law, Michelle Lany Yoakum; and his cherished grandchildren: Ally, Ivan, Ensley, and Esaias Yoakum. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Brenda Duke, and his brother, Todd Yoakum.

One of the greatest comforts to his family is knowing that before his passing, Thomas accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. This decision gives peace and hope, knowing his eternity is secure.
We find strength in the words of Psalm 32:1–2 (KJV):
"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile."
Thomas will be remembered for his passion, his talent, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
