Wayne Robbins, 61, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2020.

Visitation will be held at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 15, 2020, beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Azleland Cemetery and Memorial Park.

Wayne was born July 16, 1959 in Shelby, NC to his parents Jimmy and Kaye. He grew up with two brothers and one sister in Polkville, NC. Wayne later met his bride, had two beautiful children, and moved to Fort Worth, Tx in 1993.

Wayne spent most of his career as a maintenance manager, but he really was a "jack of all trades." He was a hard worker and quick to lend a helping hand. While he worked hard, he truly lived life to the fullest. Wayne rarely met a stranger, had an infectious smile, and was a friend to many. He enjoyed genealogy, history, music, and creating memories with his family and friends while living the lake life. His greatest joy in life was his family and he had a beautifully apparent love for his wife of nearly 41 years, Brenda.

Wayne is preceded in death by his brother, David Robbins.

Wayne will forever be missed by his wife, Brenda Robbins; son, Steven Robbins (Lena Madison, Elijah Almarez); daughter, Megan Robbins (Chris Jackson); father, Jimmy Elbridge Robbins (Edith); mother, Rebecca Kaye Hager (William); brother, Ritchie Robbins (Joyce); sister, Cindie Robbins Cutshaw (Rick); along with a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
