He cherished the memories of watching his children grow, supporting their endeavors, and always finding ways to be present in their lives.

One of the most cherished memories Sidney's children have is of a trip to the Statue of Liberty. Sidney, determined to make the experience memorable for his boys, led them up the stairs to the top of the statue. Despite his son Dave being small and exhausted, Sidney carried him all the way to the top, demonstrating his boundless love and devotion.

Sidney is survived by his son Ron and daughter-in-law Gema Geffen, his son Dave and daughter-in-law Amy Geffen, his granddaughter Robin and her husband David Adelman, his granddaughter Heather Lopez, and his granddaughter Ashley and her husband Michael Hager; His grandson Alexander Geffen.
