Sherian Rose McAlpine Clark

1948 - 2024

Sherian Rose McAlpine Clark, of Azle, TX passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 75.  Born on November 15, 1948 to E.R. "Skeeter" and Betty McAlpine of Earth, TX she was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Sherian graduated from Springlake-Earth High School in 1967. Just one month after graduation she married the love of her life, Louis Dwight "Bouncer" Clark of Olton, TX. Her married life began with Bouncer being drafted into the Vietnam War. Once he safely returned home, they began their family being blessed with two daughters whom she lovingly devoted herself to as a stay-at-home mom. Once her daughters reached their teenage years she began her career in the banking industry before finally dedicating over 20 years as an office manager to Bracketry Systems Inc. where she not only managed the office but provided treats to all the office pets. Beyond her professional life, she was heavily involved in the activities and events of her children and grandchildren. Never missing a ball game, concert, swim meet, award ceremony, or graduation, she cheered them on and always made sure to take a picture or video of them in action.

Sherian loved decorating for the holidays as well as giving gifts and cards. After her retirement she spent her time creating detailed and chronological picture albums, providing treats to her neighbor's pets as well as any strays, caring for the wildlife in her own backyard and keeping her mind sharp by watching game shows. Sherian is remembered as kind and caring to both people and animals alike and loved being "Nana" to her five grandchildren. She cherished spending time with her family, teasing, laughing, and making memories to be captured on camera. Sherian took great pride in her children and grandchildren, and the legacy of love she built together with her beloved husband, Bouncer, of 57 years.

Those left to cherish Sherian's memory are her daughters, Shelley Newton (Jeff), Melissa Hann (Lee); grandchildren, David (Meredith Kathryn), Meredith (Brady), Alison, Kendal (Micah), and Emory; sisters, Debbie Taylor (Dale) and Cindy McAlpine, and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dwight "Bouncer" Clark on Sept. 20, 2024, and by her parents.

To honor Sherian's life, a visitation at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. will be held on October 11, 2024 at the Azle Funeral Chapel on the grounds of Azleland Cemetery, Azle, TX. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Azle Community Caring Center, Azle Animal Shelter, or an organization of choice.
