Sharon's greatest passion in life was her family. She poured her heart into loving her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Her second passion was making people feel beautiful. She began her career as a hairstylist in 1968 and continued faithfully until her illness, owning and operating three beauty shops over the years. Sharon knew everybody in town, and everyone who sat in her chair left not only beautiful but also feeling loved and cared for.
She was a gifted artist with a natural eye for decorating. She loved to travel, especially to Louisiana to visit family. Sharon also had a beautiful singing voice and used her talents to serve faithfully in her church. She sang in the choir, led ministries, and was known for preparing meals for Wednesday night services alongside her husband James. Her servant's heart touched countless lives.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, her church community, and all who were blessed to know her.
Services will be held at Eagle Mountain Baptist Church on Saturday, the 22nd. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m.
