Ruth D. Golden, 87, passed away on August 2, 2020.

A visitation will be held on August 6, 2020 at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel at 9 AM followed by a funeral service beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be at Azleland Cemetery.

Ruth was born on December 28, 1932 in Gunsight, Texas to the late W.C. and Nora Gray McNellie.  She had four children.  Ruth worked as a bookkeeper for many years, but in her free time she enjoyed playing volleyball and gardening.  She loved to entertain whether it was having guest over or goofing off on the dance floor.  Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded by her daughter, Connie Dickerson and three brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Valerie Dickerson and Janey Cavanaugh; son, Clyde Dickerson Jr. (Donna); grandchildren, Clinton Dickerson, Michael Plumlee (Nikki), Jeff Plumlee (Ashley) and April Watson (Eugene); 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Grady; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
