Russell Allan Smith, 37, of Azle passed away Oct. 29, 2018 at home.

Russell was born May 29, 1981 in San Diego, California. He lived in Jacksonville, Florida but made his home in Azle, Texas.  Russell was a jack of all trades and recently an employee of his good friend Derald Evans.  He was an exceptional pool player and spent a lot of time with his league teammates at the Open Table.

Survivors include his son Calvin John Smith; mother Laura Lea Beam of Azle; father John Smith of Jacksonville Florida; brother Christopher John Smith of Jacksonville Florida; aunts Beverly Lee and Lisa Kofford both of Azle; uncle David Kofford of Azle grandparents Bob and Jean Aschmeyer of Azle; many cousins; numerous friends and especially his good buddy Angela.

Memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at Azle Church of Christ, 336 Northwest Parkway.
