Rodney E Gaines, 62, of Lake Worth,Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 10:15 PM on June 9th, at Baylor All Saints Hospital.
Rodney was one of a kind, well known by many and very much loved and cared about. He touched the hearts of many people. He was funny, charming and easy going. He was a name you never forgot. He would take the shirt off his back for anybody. He was a very likable man. He was the first to achieve Golden Gloves in Lake Worth, Tx for his school. He loved fishing. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family and friends. But most of all he enjoyed learning everything there was to know about Aliens. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Audie and Johnnie Gaines, his daughter Misty Vise, his brother Steven Gaines. He is survived by his daughter Krysta Gaines, son Ryan Pearson. Brothers, Johnny Gaines and wife Robin, Brandon Gaines and wife Kristin. His sister Rebecca Payne and husband Jordan. And Beverly Butler, the mother of his youngest daughter. Grand children, Lux Pearson and Landon Rucka. And many nieces and nephews and cousins.
