Rocky Lee Fugate

Rocky Lee Fugate, 41, of Azle, Texas, passed away on June 10, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 19, 1984, in Fort Worth to Victor and Marilyn Davis.

Rocky was a private and gentle soul whose kindness touched the lives of those who knew him. Though he often preferred a quiet life and kept to himself, his love for family was unwavering. He made it a priority to spend time with his mother, visiting and cooking for her several times each week. Family was one of the most important parts of his life, and he showed his love through his presence, his helpful nature, and the countless small acts of care that meant so much to those around him.

Rocky had a deep love for music and enjoyed attending concerts whenever he could. He also played the guitar and found joy and expression through music. Those who knew him well appreciated his dry sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter with a perfectly timed remark.

His compassion extended beyond people to animals as well. Rocky had a tender heart and a genuine love for all living creatures. He was the family member trusted to care for beloved pets when others traveled, knowing they would be safe and well-loved in his care. His sensitivity and empathy were evident in everything he did, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Rocky was preceded in death by his father, Victor Fugate.

He is survived by his loving mother, Marilyn Davis; his brothers, Vic Fugate and wife Kristi, and Brent Fugate and wife Terry; his sisters, Dawnda Sadler and husband Ricky, and Tanya Castillo and husband Jesse; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Austin Fugate, Paige Moran, Jacob Fugate, Brooke Valero, Lexi Sadler, Zoe Sadler, Jesse Castillo, and Riley Castillo.

Rocky will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his quiet strength, his love of music, his devotion to family, and the kindness he showed to both people and animals. Though he preferred to stay out of the spotlight, his presence made a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know and love him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
