Robert Wayne Straw

1978-2021

Robert Straw, 42, left this Earth on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

Robert was born on Friday the 13th of October 1978, which meant he was special from the day he was born.  Robert lived his whole life in Texas, mainly around Saginaw, Granbury, Eastland and settling in Azle.

In 2000 Robert met Krystal, and even though he thought she stood him up on their first date, they were "Maui'ed" 5 years later.  They welcomed Ethan into their family in 2007 and Caleb completed their family in 2008.

Robert was a Telephone Technician by trade, but loved country music, hunting, yard work, carpentry, taking things apart and putting them back together...starting with his bicycles and more recently his 1970 Chevy C10 pickup truck. He especially enjoyed the lake with family and friends.

He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, in-law and friend and will be deeply missed.

He is reunited with his Papaws, Van Thomas and Bill Straw, his Uncle Gerald and his mother-in-law, Peggy Cassidy Noonan.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife, Krystal; his sons, Ethan and Caleb; his father, Eldon and his wife, Tammy; his mother, Cindy; his brother, Jason and his wife, Janine; his sisters, Patty and Becky; his grandmothers, Pearl Thomas and Pat Straw; his 4 step-siblings and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
