In Loving Memory of Ricky Lee Smith

1967 - 2024

Ricky Lee Smith, born on February 14, 1967, in Indianola, Mississippi, passed away on July 6, 2024, after many courageous battles with cancer. He was the beloved son of Obrey and Kaye Smith.
Ricky was a caring and genuine man who had a profound love for everyone he met. He was especially fond of animals, with a particular affection for his dog, Mia. Known for his selflessness, Ricky would give everything he had to help someone in need. Despite the many challenges he faced, he always had a smile on his face.
Ricky's favorite phrase, "love you with all my heart," encapsulated the depth of his affection and the warmth he shared with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering positivity.
He has been reunited with his father, Obrey, in God's Eternal Kingdom.

Ricky will be deeply and lovingly missed by his mother, Kaye Smith; sister, Teresa Mathis and husband, Byron; brother, Bobby Smith; sister, Sheila Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be rendered at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
