Rachel Sanchez

1950 - 2020

Sanchez, Rachel (Yanes) age 69 formerly of Wharton,TX passed away peacefully Thursday  May 28th, 2020 in Fort Worth, TX. Rachel was born September 29, 1950 to her parents, Jose Retis Yanes and Matilda Valdez in Moody, Texas.

Rachel was married to her husband Francisco Sanchez for 46 years until his passing on March 8, 2013. Francisco was her best friend and main priority throughout  their lives and even after his passing. She worked as a waitress most of her life, displaying a knack for meeting new people and treating them as family from the very first encounter. Rachel was a devoted Religious Catholic Woman who truly lived her life to the fullest loving our Lord and Savior while taking in the simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her sisters on Thursdays for sister day; eating out at  Mexican Inn enjoying their chips and salsa with a margarita.

Rachel will be deeply and lovingly be missed by her daughter, Linda Ann Sanchez; her sons, Frank Sanchez Jr. and Israel Sanchez; her sisters, Rosalinda Espinoza, Sandra Partida and Delores Olguin; her brothers, Frank Partida and Jose Partida; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, along with other loving family members and dear friends.
