Pete was born on March 2nd, 1930, Texas Independence Day in Robinson, Texas. He said this made him a true Texan. He graduated from Azle High School where we designed the first mascot, Buzzy the Hornet for the school. He was in the Army and worked for Lockheed/ General Dynamics for most of his life with his proudest achievement there working as an elected Union Hall representative. But the love of his life was Karate and his students at the Boys Club where he was known for his fast hands, his infamous "Cat" stance, and pushing his students to reach their full potential.
His other interests included cars, racing, airplanes, writing poetry and songs, reading the Bible and caring for his two dogs.
Pete Ludwick is survived by hid brothers Bobby and Billy Ludwick, his son, Damien Ludwick, daughter-in-law Caron Ludwick along with his grandkids, Liza and Zachary; his daughter Melanie Chartrand and her husband Marc Chartrand; and his two "little girls", dogs Frisky and Miller.
