Paula Marie Anderson 1962-2021

Paula Marie Anderson, 58, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, in Tyler, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery after the funeral.

Paula was born on December 4, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Paul George Jenkins and Betty Lorienne Casey.  She grew up alongside her brother, Frankie, and together they shared many crazy stories.  Paula was a supportive sister and never missed one of Frankie's football or baseball games, even if it meant missing out on date or special event of her own.  Her compassionate ways carried into her adult years when she became a mother to her own children.  Paula took pride in being a mother and provided for her family by holding a manager position at Taco Bell for over twenty years.  Despite the long days and nights, she still found time to enjoy the company of her family.  Paula could spend hours playing bingo and dominos or sitting lakeside.  She was quite the firecracker and never one to turn down a dare.  She had a soft spot for animals, especially her dogs, whom she often dressed in various outfits.  When it came to her children and grandchildren, Paula had no problem speaking up on their behalf due to her protective ways.  Her selflessness and golden heart will be forever remembered and forever missed.

Paula is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Charles Anderson; dad, Paul George Jenkins; mom, Betty Casey; son, Larry Charles Anderson Jr; and grandson, Josh Nathaniel Holmes.

Paula will be deeply and lovingly missed by her son, David Anderson and wife, Mary, of Granbury, Texas; daughters, Jessica Anderson and husband, Ronnie Holmes, of Granbury, Texas, Kristy and husband, John Denny of Bullard, Texas, and Adrienne Kennedy and husband, Anthony Kennedy of Keller, Texas; her boyfriend of twenty-one years, Charlie Holmes, of Fort Worth, Texas; niece, Angela Ferrell of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Frankie Jenkins and wife, Penny Garcia, of Woodlands, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
