Visitation will be held at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 28, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 AM.

Pat Newell, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2021 in Vernon, TX.

She was born in Bonham, TX on March 25, 1929 to Ambrus and Joella Harris. She lived in Fort Worth, TX and Los Angeles, CA throughout her adult life.

Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She took care of everyone and loved serving others. She lit up every room she was in with her presence. Her strength was always shining through and she left a legacy that will not ever be forgotten. Pat will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Brodie A. Newell; daughter, Sandra Biller; sister, Virginia Morley; brother in law, Richard Morley; grandson, Eric Kelley; and great-granddaughter, Ava Villegas.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Bill Smith (Arlene) of Saginaw, TX, Sam Mason (Belinda) of Tiffin, Ohio, and Kimberly Albin (Eddie) of Azle, TX; grandchildren, Melody Biller, Patty Gibson (Jeff), Roberta Whited (Bob), Bill Smith Jr., Carl Smith (Delinda), Jolene Ireland (John), Michael Smith (Angela), Marcella Mason, Jessica Garza (A.J.), Sandra Mason, Ashley Ooten (Keith) and Haley Nelson (Ryan); many great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several loving friends.
