Ortencia Maldonado Roman, born on November 1, 1952, in Coahuila, Mexico, to her parents Adolfo Maldonado Rodriguez and Juanita Rodriguez, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was 72 years old.

Ortencia was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Nicolás Román, and a loving mother to her three daughters: Alma, Gabriela and Norma. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Alexander, Nicolás, Arnold Jr., Annette, Kevin, Mia, Jaylen, and Giselle, each of whom she loved dearly.

Ortencia found joy in life's simple pleasures, including long walks in the park and listening to music on the radio. She was also a skilled seamstress, finding comfort and creativity in the art of sewing. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Her family and friends will remember her as a woman full of love, joy, and passion for the things she cherished most in life.

Ortencia Maldonado Román, nacida el 1ro de noviembre del 1952 en Coahuila, México, hija de Adolfo Maldonado Rodríguez y Juanita Rodríguez, falleció pacíficamente el 7 de noviembre del 2024 en Fort Worth, Texas, a la edad de 72 años.

Ortencia fue una esposa devota de su querido esposo Nicolás Román y una madre amorosa de sus tres hijas: Alma, Gabriela, Norma. También fue una orgullosa abuela de ocho nietos: Alexander, Nicolás, Arnold Jr., Annette, Kevin, Mia, Jaylen y Giselle, a quienes amaba profundamente.

Ortencia encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos de la vida, como sus largas caminatas por el parque y escuchar música en la radio. También era una hábil costurera, hallando consuelo y creatividad en el arte de la costura. Su calidez, bondad y devoción a su familia serán muy extrañadas por todos los que la conocieron.

Su familia y amigos la recordarán como una mujer llena de amor, alegría y pasión por las cosas que más apreciaba en la vida.

La velacion se llevará a cabo el martes 12 de noviembre del 2024, de 1:00 p.m. a 2:00 p.m., seguida del servicio funerario a las 2:00 p.m. Posteriormente, se realizará el sepelio en el cementerio Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
