Nicolas Roman

Nicolas Roman Murillo, 77, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. Born on December 3, 1948, in Sain Bajo, Zacatecas, Mexico, Nicolas devoted his life to hard work, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.

Nicolas was the kind of father who taught his daughters about determination, hard work, and respect. He believed in doing things the right way, even when no one was watching, and he taught his children the value of honesty, humility, and kindness.

A hard-working manual laborer for more than 60 years, Nicolas loved eating home-cooked meals, the outdoors, Mexican regional music, and telling stories that made everyone laugh.

Nicolas is survived by his three daughters, Gabriela, Alma, and Norma, and his eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Arnold Pesina Jr., Annette Pesina, Alexander Duran, Kevin Duran, Giselle Duran, Jailyn Duran, Nicolas Casarubbias, Mia Casarubias, and Aliyah Casarrubias.
