Michael Oden Jr., 54, passed away on August 7, 2020.

Visitation will be held at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Michael was born on October 4, 1965 in San Angelo, Texas.  He was the second child of Mary Lee and Michael Oden Sr.  Michael graduated from Central High School in San Angelo in 1984 then went on to study at Tarrant County and Weatherford college becoming a Certified Nurse's Aide.  He held many jobs different jobs throughout his life and enjoyed each of them, but he found true pleasure in being able to help those who needed him most.  Michael's heart was full the day he became a father to his son, Gaither.  He was a good and loving dad, devoted son, and beloved brother.  Michael was a friend to many that could be counted on in any situation.  He will always be remembered as the light that shown too briefly in everyone's lives.

Michael is preceded in passing by his father.

Survivors include his pride and joy, Gaither; mother; sister, Sonya; brother, Gerald; and countless other friends and family that loved him more than he ever knew.
