IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Norman
Grulke
December 24, 1945 – March 20, 2022
Michael Norman Grulke, 76, passed away quietly on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Mike was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 24, 1945, to Norman and Shirley Grulke. He married the love of his life, Lynn, shortly after graduating high school on April 15, 1965. They grew up and spent their earlier years together living in Michigan with a large extended family. In 1982, the family moved to Watauga, Texas after Mike found a job in Dallas as a Master Carpenter where he worked until his retirement in 2015. Mike was an extraordinarily talented and patient carpenter that worked on some of the largest and finest homes in the state of Texas. He was a kind and honest man that could be heard singing on most occasions. He loved his family above all else. He loved playing cards, playing games with his grandkids, camping, golfing and his Dallas sports teams, the Cowboys, Stars, Mavericks and Rangers. Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death his brother, Scott.
Mike will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife of 57 years, Lynn Grulke; daughter, Andrea Dunn; son, Chad Grulke; sisters, Cheryl and Colleen; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
