In Loving Memory of Max "Eddie" Pittman
1928 - 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father, Max Pittman, who passed peacefully, in his sleep, at the age of 97, on July 28, 2025.

Born January 14, 1928, in Waco, Texas, to Fannie Marie Copaus and Jessie James Pittman, who Preceded him, in death, as well as his late wife, Laura Florence Thomas and their first born daughter, Francis Elaine.

Survivors include his children, Max Eugene Pittman, Jessie Wayne Pittman, Donna Sue Pittman Seigler (husband, Gary Seigler) and Patricia Pittman Salisbury. As weĺl as, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and even great-great-great grandchildren.

He was an iron worker, throughout his employment years, retiring to be jack-of-all- trades. He had many hobbies which included visiting on his porch with anybody that wanted a visit, fishing, taking his grandkids for a swim and loving his family time. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his long-time friend and neighbor, Mr. Jerry Brown, for his comradery and assistance.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Max's life on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home, located at 850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Immediately after the service, Max will be laid to rest at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park, where he will be honored with a peaceful burial surrounded by those who loved him most.

We welcome all who knew and loved Max to join us as we honor his memory, share stories, and celebrate a life that touched so many. His warmth, humor, and compassion will forever live on in our hearts.
