Mary C. Neathery, beloved mother and friend, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2021.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Azleland Cemetery and Memorial Park.

Mary was born in Dallas, Texas on December 21, 1949 to Claude Morgan and Mary Alline Slate.   From a young age, she had an extremely giving heart. Mary attended Castleberry High in River Oaks where she also graduated from.  She worked and retired from Cook's Children Hospital where she was able to care for many children.  When she wasn't working, she was attending church.  Mary was a very godly woman and passed her love for Christ to each of her children.  Her sense of humor was unmatched and her laugh was contagious.  Mary loved to play board games, and "somehow" always seemed to win.  Above all, Mary was a proud mother and grandmother.  She held her family above all.

Mary will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Larry Neathery and wife, Darla, Regina Meredith and husband, Steve, and Kevin Neathery and wife, Kim; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends that became family.
