In Loving Memory of Mark Gerald Pope

1948 - 2024

Mark Gerald Pope, born on October 14, 1948, to James and Mary Pope, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2024.

Mark proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He later found his calling as a minister through IFGEA Inc., dedicating his life to faithfully reading his Bible and spreading the word of God. Mark was a devoted servant of the Lord, touching many lives with his unwavering faith and commitment.

He married the love of his life, Arletta, with whom he shared many cherished memories. Mark enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart and old westerns, finding joy in these simple pleasures.

Mark's legacy of faith and devotion will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a testament of love, service, and unwavering faith in the Lord.

He is now at peace, embraced by the Lord he so faithfully served.

Mark has been reunited with his beloved wife, Arletta; parents; and brother in God's Eternal Kingdom.

He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his sisters, Sandra Pope & her family and Marcia Pope Cleveland & her family; niece, Threasa Morris; a host of other nieces and nephews; and best friends who cared for him dearly, David and Cynthia Wilson and their family.
