Maria Trujillo Lopez-Ortiz

Maria Trujillo Lopez-Ortiz, 81, was called to heaven to be with her husband, Ramon Ortiz Sr. on August 14th, 2022. Maria was born to the late Juan Trujillo and Paula Lopez-Trujillo, two Mexican farmers, in Rancho Nuevo, Mexico on March 2, 1941. She was immersed in the Christian community and a woman of great faith. Maria did not have the opportunity for much formal education. She started working as a farmer with her parents at a young age. In adulthood, though she worked as a housekeeper, restaurant cook, and a ranch hand later in her life before entering retirement age; she dedicated most of her beautiful life to creating a loving, and caring home. Caring for her children, grandchildren, and her husband was her priority. Maria was blessed with a large and loving family. She married a family friend, Ramon Ortiz Sr., on April 14, 1957, in Rio Bravo, Coahuila, MX. Maria raised their 7 children with patience, discipline, and grace. She led by example and taught her children the importance of being respectful, as well as being a responsible person. She emphasized to them the importance of carrying yourself in a way to be respected. She lived her life fully dedicated to the care of her family. She was always there to comfort her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Juan Trujillo and Paula Trujillo; siblings, Fransisco Trujillo, Ofelia Trujillo-Esquivel, Armandina Trujillo-Salinas, Martin Trujillo, Eduardo Trujillo, Rosa Trujillo, Macario Trujillo, and Juan Trujillo.

Maria will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Guadalupe Ortiz Rico, Ramon Ortiz Jr., Rogelio Ortiz, Petra Ortiz, Jose Alfredo Ortiz Sr., Yolanda Rodriguez, and Oscar Ortiz; brother, Antonio Trujillo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

María Trujillo López-Ortiz, de 81 años, fue llamada al cielo para estar con su esposo, Ramón Ortiz Sr. el 14 de agosto de 2022.

María nació del difunto Juan Trujillo y Paula López-Trujillo, dos agricultores mexicanos, en Rancho Nuevo, México, el 2 de marzo de 1941. Estaba inmersa en la comunidad cristiana y era una mujer de gran fe. María no tuvo la oportunidad de recibir mucha educación formal. Comenzó a trabajar como agricultora con sus padres a una edad temprana. En la edad adulta, aunque trabajó como ama de llaves, cocinera de restaurante y peón de rancho más adelante en su vida antes de entrar en la edad de jubilación, dedicó la mayor parte de su hermosa vida a crear un hogar amoroso y afectuoso. Cuidar de sus hijos, nietos y su esposo era su prioridad.

María fue bendecida con una familia numerosa y amorosa. Se casó con un amigo de la familia, Ramón Ortiz Sr. el 14 de abril de 1957 en Río Bravo, Coahuilla, MX. María crió a sus 7 hijos con paciencia, disciplina y gracia. Predicó con el ejemplo y enseñó a sus hijos la importancia de ser respetuosos, además de ser una persona responsable. Ella les enfatizó la importancia de comportarse de una manera que los respete. Vivió su vida totalmente dedicada al cuidado de su familia. Siempre estuvo ahí para consolar a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos.

A María le sobreviven sus hijos, Guadalupe Ortiz Rico, Ramón Ortiz Jr., Rogelio Ortiz, Petra Ortiz, José Alfredo Ortiz Sr., Yolanda Rodríguez, and Oscar Ortiz; el hermano, Antonio Trujillo; y numerosos nietos, bisnietos y sobrinas y sobrinos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Juan Trujillo y Paula Trujillo, sus hermanos Francisco Trujillo, Ofelia Trujillo-Esquivel, Armandina Trujillo-Salinas, Martin Trujillo, and Eduardo Trujillo,

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The funeral service will be held at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 AM followed by interment at Azleland Cemetery.
