In Loving Memory of Maria Gloria Galan Tovar

1943 – 2023

Maria Gloria Galan Tovar, 80, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2023, in Springtown, Texas. Maria Gloria was born in the city of Allende, Coahuila, Mexico on April 23, 1943.

Maria was a strong woman, fighter, and so full of life. A person who gave a lot of love and affection to her family. Her family was what she treasured most in her life. What she liked to do the most was to be in God's house and praise him. She loved to cook and feed her family. Loved keeping her house tidy. She also loved to shop and visit her loved ones. Although she is gone, her family will always remember her with so much love and will always have her in their hearts. We know that one day we will be with her enjoying ourselves in heaven. Until very soon our sweet mother we love you.

Maria Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Maria de Jesus and Francisco Tovar and her husband, Juventino Ezequiel Galan Flores. Now she is with them and our dear Lord. May they rest in Peace.

Those left to honor and celebrate her memory are her children, Juventino Ruben Galan, Jesus Hervey Galan, and Roberto Galan; her daughters, Maria Gloria Garcia and Martha Gallegos; her son and daughter- in- laws, Antonio García, Rubén Gallegos, Sylvia Galan, Cindy Galan and Sara Galan; her 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which sleep, that ye sorrow not even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. – I Thessalonians 4:13-14

María Gloria Galán Tovar de 80 años falleció el 6 de noviembre del 2023 en Springtown, Texas. Nació en la ciudad de Allende, Coahuila, México el 23 de abril de 1943.

María fue una mujer fuerte, luchadora, y llena de vida. Una persona que dio mucho amor y cariño a su familia, su familia era lo que ella más atesoraba en su vida. Lo que a ella más le gustaba hacer era estar en la casa de Dios y alabarlo. Le gustaba cocinar y siempre tener su casa ordenada y limpia. Le encantaba ir de compras y visitar a sus seres queridos.  Aunque ya no está, su familia siempre la recordara con mucho amor y la tendrán siempre en sus corazones.  Sabemos que un día estaremos con ella gozándonos en el cielo. Hasta muy pronto madrecita te amamos.

María Gloria era precedida en muerte por sus padres, María de Jesús y Francisco Tovar y su esposo, Juventino Ezequiel Galán Flores. Ahora se encuentra con ellos y con nuestro Padre Dios. Que en Paz descansen.

Le sobreviven para honrar y celebrar su memoria son sus hijos, Juventino Rubén Galán, Jesús Hervey Galán, y Roberto Galán; sus hijas, María Gloria García y Martha Gallegos; sus yernos y nueras, Antonio García, Rubén Gallegos, Sylvia Galán, Cindy Galán y Sara Galán; sus 19 nietos y 32 bisnietos.

Tampoco queremos hermanos que ignoren acerca los que duermen no se entristecen como los otros que no tienen esperanza. Porque si creemos que Jesús murió y resucito, hace también traerá Dios con Jesús a los que durmieron en él. -I Tesalonicenses 4:13-14
