Obituary

Marcus Antwan Jackson

1989 - 2022

Marcus Antwan Jackson gained his wings January 22, 2022. Marcus was born on May 8, 1989, to his parents, Chris and Johnnie Jackson in Fort Worth, Texas.

Marcus was a loving husband, father, father that stepped up, brother, cousin and uncle. He was a hardworking, punctual man. Marcus loved his family. Whether he was at his son's baseball game or taking his wife out on a Sunday as they regularly did, he dedicated himself to his family. When it came to friendship, he was as the Bible calls it, "a friend that sticks closer than a brother." Marcus would give you the shirt off of his back. He will always be remembered as a good man and will be sincerely missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

Long Live Marcus Jackson!

Marcus will be deeply and dearly missed by his wife, Yesenia Jackson; his children, Jesus Jackson, Jenesy Jackson and Janelle Jackson; his siblings, Tarvarick Webster, LaToya and Chris Peters, Chris and ShaJuana, and Rodrick and Tara Jackson; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

"Babe,

I know we talked about this day if it was ever to happen and I know what you told me but just know that I'm trying and this is the hardest thing I would ever have to do, to do life without you cause we both had plans to grow old together! My heart shattered in to a million pieces when yours stopped and only you can put it back together! You told me "That's why you are the reflection of me" and I will be forever. Like you said team us till the death of me!! That will always be!! All my happiness was/is thanks to you, you completed me and now without you I feel so incomplete. I will forever cherish the most amazing 11 years of us together even though it was too little because we had forever to go. I got our babies. I love you like a fat kid loves cakes baby!! Always forever, hasta la muerte til the next life!! That's a promise!!"

"From the day you came in this world, I held your lil hand like my very own little brother. From Big Mama school to adulthood, you have done nothing but make me proud. I was the youngest cousin as well as the only child, while you were the last of the bunch. The bond we shared is unmatched and forever cherished. Although the clock has stopped our love will keep going. Just know that life really did have so much meaning knowing I didn't have to do it alone. Rest well my brother."

-Forever your little big cousin/sister- CiCi
