Lauren Rochelle Hunter
1983 – 2022
Lauren Rochelle Hunter passed away on February 11, 2022, at age 38 in her home surrounded by friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Anthony Hunter, her children Monti and Cash Hunter and son in law Michael Garza and her parents Tina and George Taylor. She is preceded in death by her grandfather's, Weldon Taylor and Robert Don Autrey, and nephew, Drew Carter
Lauren was born to Tina and George Taylor at Harris downtown in Fort Worth, Texas on August 27, 1983. She graduated from Haltom Highschool in 2001. On August 13, 2005, she married her husband Anthony in Utica, Oklahoma, and later resided in Azle, Texas. On January 30, 2003, and May 31, 2007, she welcomed both of her children into this world, who were the most important thing in her life.
Lauren was a devoted daughter, mother, wife, and friend. She worked for Tarrant Regional Water District as an accountant for 5 years. She donated countless hours to Azle Youth Association as secretary and her children's schools as PTO President. Lauren was the kind of friend that was willing to help no matter the time or task. She was extremely quick-witted, spunky, and a little bossy from time to time but we loved her anyway. You could always count on Lauren to tell you exactly how she felt whether you asked her or not. She is described by many as "having no filter". Lauren was the kind of woman others wanted to be. She was strong, compassionate, caring, and driven. Lauren claimed many of her children's friends as her own and treated them as such. Anytime she was asked how many children she had, she often said "too many to count". She was the mom that willingly drove 6 teenage boys around or took 5 teenage girls to the mall and had fun doing it. She lived by the quote "Let me tell you this, the older you do get the more rules they're gonna try to get you to follow. You just gotta keep livin' man, L-I-V-I-N.". Lauren never took a day for granted and made sure she was always smiling. Whether she was pulling a prank or telling a joke she always had those around smiling as well. Lauren will be missed by all those who knew her.
