Kistan Marie Bancroft

1978 - 2023

Kistan Marie Bancroft was born on December 19, 1978 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas to parents, Michael Eddie Bancroft and Patricia Jean Rea. She was unexpectedly taken from this world on April 13, 2023 at the age of 44 years old. Kistan was the eldest of 6 children and was affectionately called "titter" after being named that by her baby sister, Kimmy. Kistan was an 80's baby and enjoyed New Kids on the Block and hanging out with her lifelong best friend, Krise Fuller, while driving around with her little brother, Kyle. She was a spirited kid who always tried to take care of her younger siblings.

Children meant everything to Kistan. She had 6 beautiful children of her own that she photographed at any possible moment. Kistan became parents with her high school sweetheart, Daniel Campbell, to her eldest daughters, Taylor Nicole Campbell and Ambry Lynn Campbell (Luckett). After the relationship dissolved, she later married Randall Matlock and had three more children: Tanner Guy Matlock, Meadow Ann Matlock, and Piper Marie Matlock.

A few years later, Kistan met her soulmate and love of her life, Michael Trujillo, and married him in 2017. She became stepmother to Cole Alexander Martinez and their blended family brought them so much happiness. They cleaned up their lives together, created a beautiful life from scratch, and bought their dream home. They were overwhelmed with joy to welcome two grandchildren, Declan Richard Luckett and Oliver Kai Candelaria, and to have another expected in October of 2023.

Kistan was a true caretaker and there was nothing she loved more in this world than doing good for others. She worked as a Home Healthcare Worker giving people peace, love, and care in their last moments on Earth. She enjoyed teaching children's church and showing others the light that God had lit so brightly in her heart. Kistan would talk with anyone and always made everyone feel welcome in her home. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched- which is many and uncountable.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her brother, Kyle Wayne Bancroft; mother, Patricia Jean Rea; sister-in-law, Chanee Bradshaw; and Mother-in-Law, Mimi Matlock.

Kistan will be deeply and lovingly missed by her husband, Michael Trujillo; six children, Taylor Nicole Campbell, Ambry Lynn Luckett, Tanner Guy Matlock, Meadow Ann Matlock, Cole Alexander Martinez, and Piper Marie Matlock; her two grandchildren, Declan Luckett and a Oliver Candelaria; 4 siblings, Kimberly Ann Neill,  Ashley Renee Smith, Shawn Edwin Smith, and Kateland Rose Bancroft; 13 nieces and nephews, Dakota Bradshaw, Jordy Mayhall, Lexa Bradshaw, Maddison Bradshaw, Bella Cook, Nolah Neill, Wyatt Neill, Jonah Moore, Winter Moore, Aiden Mcelhaney, Levi Rodriguez, Laurelai Smith, Heather Mockerman, and Aurora Smith; stepfather, Gene Smith; mother and father-in-law, Kathy and Gary Trujillo; and her father, Michael Bancroft.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 PM.
