Kenneth Duane Moelling

1944 - 2022

Kenneth Duane Moelling was born on January 15,1944 to his parents Melvin Kenneth Moelling and Bertha Bernice Holroyd- Moelling in Evansville, Indiana and he entered into eternity with his Savior holding his hand on January 22, 2022, in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Kenneth was a very talented painter, although, he was his own harshest critic, he usually considered most of his work to be "unfinished".  He enjoyed going out and hunting arrowheads in the creek beds or wherever he could find them.  In general, he just loved spending time in the great outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful nature that God provided us all.  He loved living in the country, and all the possibilities that came with it.   In his last years he spent most of his time on his computer, listening to music, learning more about his Creator, and playing video games.  He used every opportunity to share his love of Jesus with others, even if it was only at doctor's appointments, nurse visits, and hospitals.

Kenneth is survived by his only sibling, his sister, Barbara Jo McClanahan and his brother-in-law, David, of Idabel Oklahoma; his son, Steven Moelling and his wife, Paula of Mineral Wells, Texas; his daughter, Laura Quintero and her husband Frank, of Fort Worth, Texas; and his daughter, Lisa Priebe of Mineral Wells, Texas, as well as seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Moelling, his mother, Bertha Holroyd-Moelling and a granddaughter, Stephanie Moelling.

Kenneth would like all to know, that, except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it.  Psalm 127:1.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Azleland Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM.
