Kathy Marie Clay Kite, loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, left this world peacefully on December 6th, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be rendered on Thursday beginning at 2:00 PM at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
Kathy was born on August 15, 1960 in Grapevine, Texas to Mildred and Harvey Clay. She loved traveling and shopping. She spent most of her adventures at the beach and on the boat fishing. Along with being on the water, Kathy enjoyed camping and skiing. If she was not out adventuring, Kathy loved watching the Cowboys and OU football with her husband and her family. Kathy shared her love for animals with her grandson, Devin, whom she loved dearly.
She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her husband, Steve Kite of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Stacey Clay Mills and husband, Glen Mills of Fort Worth, Texas; grandson, Devin Casillas and partner, Genevieve Masuda of Erie, Colorado; granddaughter, Trinidy Mills of Fort Worth, Texas; best friend of forty years, Debbie Starks of Corsicana, Texas; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Harvey Clay, and brothers, Dale and Lynn Clay.
