Joycelyn Hatler Sheppard, 84, passed away on March 20, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be rendered at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.

Joycelyn was born on April 14, 1936 to Buck and Florene Hatler.  She was a mother of five boys who filled her heart with joy.  In 1997, Joycelyn married Tommy Glenn Sheppard.  She enjoyed fishing, camping and watching football.  Joycelyn was a shining light on the dance  floor and spent many nights participating in Shuffle Board tournaments.  She had a soft spot for animals, but above all, Joycelyne cherished the time she spent with her husband and children.

She is preceded in passing by her parents and three of her sons, Johnny, Danny, and Tommy Poindexter.

Joycelyne will be deeply and lovingly missed by her husband of 23 years, Tommy Glenn Sheppard; sons, Ronnie Walcott and Randy Walcott; and a host of loving extended family and friends.
