Johnny Allen Cole, born on March 22, 1947, in Plainview, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Johnny served from March 1, 1967, until December 31, 1971, earning commendations including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. After graduating from Azle High School in 1966, Johnny made a life as a dedicated plumber, balancing hard work with a love for family and creativity.

Johnny was known for his warmth and generosity, often lending a hand to anyone in need. He had a passion for crafts, creating unique items such as airplanes, cranes, and clocks, and was an avid collector of knives and hatchets. His love for adventure took him on many back road journeys with family and friends, where he would share stories of his travels and culinary explorations. He was always eager to try new foods, often accompanied by his beloved 16-year-old Chihuahua, Tinkerbell, who he took everywhere and shared his meals with.

Family was at the heart of Johnny's life. He cherished moments spent around the table during family dinners, filled with laughter and storytelling. His legacy is carried on by his loving son Allen and Aaron, daughter-in-law Alinda, granddaughters Kelly, Jesi, Angel, and grandson Cody, as well as great-granddaughters Luna and River. He is remembered fondly by his sister Joretta Lanier, sister-in-law Connie Cole, and his niece Kristi and nephew Chad Lanier. Johnny's love for God and his family shone brightly in all aspects of his life.

Funeral services to celebrate Johnny's remarkable life will be held at a future date, providing family and friends with the opportunity to gather, share memories, and honor the legacy of a man who touched many lives with his compassion and spirit.
