Joe Kirby

1942 - 2023

Bonny "Joe" Kirby, 81, of Azle passed away on April 2, 2023. Joe was born on February 9,1942 in Winnsboro, TX. After finishing school, he moved to Azle, where he began his lifelong career as a floor installer. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was very passionate about God, family, anything to do with horses, and sports. He was a member of Springtown Baptist Temple as well as many horse clubs.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother & father, Joe Kirby & Alline Kirby; wife, Linda Kirby; brother, Doyle Kirby; and daughter, Kimberly Knight.

He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his son & daughter, Mike Kirby & Kristy Brantley; grandsons, Clayton Brantley & Trenton Knight; great-grandchildren, Ella Brantley & Deacon Knight; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
