IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jimmy Dale
Mitchell Ii
December 15, 1971 – August 13, 2020
Jimmy Dale Mitchell II, known to many as "Jackstand," of Reno, Texas, entered into his eternal home on August 13, 2020. He was born on December 15, 1971 in Waxahachie, Texas to Jimmy Mitchell Sr. and Judy (Sissy) Camp.
Jimmy was a devoted Christian and passionately served God as an ordained minister and youth pastor at Solid Rock Bible Church. He loved to serve the communities he lived in and served as a volunteer firefighter in Seven Points, Texas, and most recently with the Briar-Reno Volunteer Fire Department in Reno, Texas. Jimmy fell in love with the rodeo life and riding bulls the second he entered the arena; rumor has it he was born in a bucking chute. Jimmy spent many years behind the wheel of a Peterbilt delivering America's good, which is where he got his handle "Jackstand." He also loved his guns and teaching others how to safely use them.
Jimmy loved many things, but none more than he loved his family; that's where he got his second handle at, "Papa." He was married to the love of his life, "Baby Luv," Rebecca for six years. Jimmy was a registered organ donor.
Jimmy joined his eternal home with his father and is preceded in death by his brother, John Wesley Mitchell of Waxahachie, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Mitchell of Reno; mother, Sissy Camp of Hainsville, LA; daughters, Ashley Grummert of Louisiana; brother, Michael Mitchell of Louisiana; brother, Jason Mitchell of in Kaufman, TX; daughter, Courtney Treadaway (Zach) of Bossier City, LA; son, Dakota Mitchell (Cherish) of Reno; daughter, Miranda McWhorter (Jesse) of Reno; son, Nathan Matthews (Madison) of Reno; son, Joshua Matthews (Destiny) of Azle; Caleb Matthews of Azle; sixteen grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
