On Friday evening, November 2, 2018; Jerry Albert Roll, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 65. Jerry was born on Mother's Day, May 10, 1953 in Detroit, MI to Richard and Elizabeth (Frickey) Roll. He was the oldest of 6 children in his family. He married his soulmate, Donna (Alexander) Roll, on March 19, 1976.  They raised three children Jerry Roll, Chaunetelle (Ben) Shaw, and Christina (Peter) Goldstein in Rochester Hills, MI. Jerry was the proudest Papa to seven grandchildren who all loved him.

Jerry was a hard worker who had a strong desire to always do the right thing. He loved to stay busy and would take time to teach others everything he knew. He loved to pass on his knowledge to his children, grandchildren and anyone who wanted to learn. He would teach his grandchildren anything from cooking, shooting, reading, fishing and everything in between. He loved to give everyone a hard time that he could, just because he could.

Jerry had a passion for all hobbies including shooting, four-wheeling, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling, collecting items, he acquired several others over the years. He always included his loved ones in his hobbies as much as possible and wanted everything to be a group hobby; including giving them a hard time.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Richard and his brother, Kevin. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth; his wife, Donna; his three children, Jerry, Chaunetelle, Christina; his seven grandchildren, Logan, Hannah, Leilah, Lonie, Adam, Colin, Harper; his siblings, Ted, Ann, John, Michael; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all his loved ones.
