Jeffery Alvin Grimes was called to his eternal home on December 2, 2020.

Jeffery was born to Frances Marie and James Marvin Grimes on April 9, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. He married the love of his life, Suzie, and was devoted to her for forty-four years. Jeffery enjoyed riding motorcycles and could spend all day fishing. He became skilled as an electrician and worked as one for over thirty years. Jeffery was hard working and dependable. He did everything in his power to provide the best life for his family.

Jeffery will be forever missed by his wife, Suzie Grimes; daughter, Jennifer Gurley; grandchildren, Kiersten Branum, Kelsie Branum, and Lyric Gurley; brother, Kenneth Grimes; sister, Debra Rodgers; and brother-in-law Richard Simmons.

Jeffery is preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin Grimes and Frances Marie Grimes; brother, James Marvin Grimes; and Frank Collins.

A Visitation will be held at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on December 8, 2020.

A Funeral Service will also be held at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM on December 8, 2020.

Internment will follow the Funeral Service at Azleland Cemetery.
