In Loving Memory of Jeannie Diann Beck
Jeannie Diann Beck, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of those whose lives she touched so deeply. She was born on April 21, 1968, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Willie Darrell Henson and Peggy Jean Henson.
Jeannie lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, service, and unwavering love for her family. She was the devoted wife of Larry Beck and the proud mother of Danny Beck, who were the greatest blessings of her life. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Marthina Henson-Leverington; her uncle, Donald Trammel, and cousin Donald Trammel Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Beck and D'Anne Beck; her brother-in-law, Gary Beck, and his wife, Laurie; their children, Courtney and her husband, Dean, Austin, and Michelle; the beloved Deal family—Lowell and Phyllis Deal; their children, Lynn and her daughter, Amelia, and Gayle, her husband, Norm, and their son, Zack—who became a treasured adopted family to Jeannie and whose love, friendship, and unwavering support meant more than words can express; numerous cherished nieces and nephews; beloved family in Coleman, Texas; and many lifelong friends from her school years in Irving, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Darrell and Peggy Jean Henson; her beloved grandmother, affectionately known as "Ruby Momma"; and her aunt and uncle, Billie and Floyd Wells.
Jeannie's faith was the foundation of her life. She faithfully served her church in countless ways, sharing her gifts and her heart with everyone around her. She taught music classes, volunteered in the nursery, helped homeschool children, and joyfully participated in church plays. Whether she was playing the piano or guitar, leading songs, or simply spending time with the children she loved so dearly, Jeannie found her greatest joy in serving God and others. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and patient heart left a lasting impression on generations of children and families.
She possessed an incredible intelligence and an endless curiosity. Gifted with her hands, Jeannie could repair just about anything—a talent she proudly learned from her father, whom she adored. A true daddy's girl, she treasured the lessons, love, and time they shared together.
Jeannie dedicated many years of compassionate service to the residents of Azle Manor, where she worked until her retirement. She took genuine joy in caring for others and believed every resident deserved kindness, dignity, and friendship. After retiring, she devoted herself fully to caring for her own family, embracing that role with the same selfless love that defined her entire life.
Outside of her many acts of service, Jeannie found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved music, traveling with Larry in their RV, collecting all things Snoopy, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Whether exploring new places or enjoying quiet moments at home, she brought warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went.
Jeannie will be remembered as a woman of remarkable faith, quiet strength, generous compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her service, her music, her wisdom, and her unconditional love.
The Beck family embraced Jeannie with open hearts and unwavering love. Cheryl, D'Anne, Gary, Laurie, Courtney, Dean, Austin, and Michelle were a constant source of encouragement, prayers, kindness, and steadfast support throughout her life. Their love was a precious gift, and Jeannie treasured the close bond they shared. Likewise, the Deal family—Lowell, Phyllis, Lynn, Amelia, Gayle, Norm, and Zack—became the adopted family every person hopes to find. Their enduring friendship, unconditional love, and faithful presence enriched Jeannie's life beyond measure, and they will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, those who knew and loved Jeannie find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior. Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, service, and love, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
