Janet "Granny" Marie Gary passed away on February 13, 2021.

Janet was born March 25, 1954 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Henry and Myrtle Spicer. She graduated with honors as Salutatorian and was awarded for perfect attendance and cheerleading. She also got an award from Modern Woodmen.  Janet worked at Walmart for over 20 years and also cleaned houses, worked at Tandy's, Cooper Wood Products, Honey Baked Ham and Bills Dollar Store.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Churh and a devout Christian for many years.

Janet is preceded in passing by her parents; brother, Roger Spicer; sisters, Martha Spicer and Shirley Lusk; and former husband of 25 years, Samuel Gary.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, John (Kelli); daughter, Claudia (Cameron); half-daughters, Sondra and Shelia (David); brothers, Marvin (Reva), Charles, and Bobby (Sue); sisters, Barbara Jean (James), and Opal; Eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends.

A Visitation time to visit with the family will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February 24 followed by the Funeral Ceremony at 1:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX.
