Lela "Jane" Brown

1947 – 2019

Lela "Jane" Brown was called into the arms of our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, November 28, 1947 to her parents, Jesse Albert Testerman and Lela (Welch) Testerman.

Jane grew up in Frederick, Oklahoma. As a young girl Jane enjoyed cheerleading and dancing. Jane met Guy Brown in school and fell in love, they became high-school sweethearts. The two married on Saturday, April 18, 1964 and were blessed with 55 beautiful years together. Jane still loved to dance, listen to her Elvis, enjoy an iced-cold Dr. Pepper and always turned down broccoli. Family was everything to Jane. She loved spending time with family and friends creating memories to cherish.

Though we are saddened by our loss of an amazing wife, sister and friend, our hearts are lifted by our knowledge of her return home to our Lord.

Jane is survived by her adoring husband, Guy Robert Brown; her sister, Debbie Condor; her brothers, Richard Testerman, Mark Van Wald; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other loving family members and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lela Testerman; her brothers, Leroy Testerman, Buddy Testerman; her sister, Carolyn Edwards.
