In Loving Memory of Hazel "Sharese" Robertson
1972 - 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Hazel Sharese Robertson, who succumbed to brain
cancer on the afternoon of May 18, 2025, at the age of 52.
A woman of remarkable courage and unwavering spirit,
Sharese now rests in the arms of our Lord, joining her
father, Donald Dale Smith, in eternal peace. Born on
September 6, 1972, at Harris Hospital in Haltom City to
Teresa and Donald Smith, Sharese was the eldest of their
children and lived a life dedicated to caring for others. A
graduate of Springtown High School and Weatherford
College, where she earned her LVN, Sharese dedicated
her life to nursing, specializing in pediatric care. Her
nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession, touching
the lives of many, including Kristin Henry and her twin
sons, Jacob and Jared, whom she cared for deeply and
who considered her their second mother. Sharese's
unique talent and loving nature made her a beacon of
hope for special needs children and their families. A
devoted mother, Sharese made countless sacrifices to
ensure the well-being of her children, Thomas Wiley,
James Wiley, and Ciara Robertson. Her selflessness knew
no bounds, as she consistently placed the needs of others
before her own, whether family, friends, or those in need.
Sharese also had an extraordinary love for animals,
treating each one with the same compassion and care she
extended to people. Her heart overflowed with empathy
for all creatures great and small. In July 2017, Sharese
found her soulmate in Kyle, with whom she shared a deep
and profound love. Their relationship weathered numerous
challenges, including major surgeries, a home damaged
by water, and a long-distance job, solidifying their belief
that their union was divinely ordained. Though they faced
unforeseen obstacles, their love only grew stronger.
Sharese's life took an unexpected turn in September 2023
when she was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (GBM) brain
tumor. Despite undergoing surgery, radiation, and
chemotherapy, she ultimately chose to cease treatment in
January 2025. Kyle lovingly cared for Sharese in her final
months, ensuring her comfort and peace. Sharese was
the love of Kyle's life, an exceptional LVN, and a devoted
mother. Her legacy of love and selflessness will forever be
cherished by her family, friends, and all those whose lives
she touched. She will be deeply missed.
