Gary Michael Lewis went to his eternal home on December 14, 2020.

Gary was born on January 1, 1961 to Wanda Sue (Hight) and Wilburn Donald Lewis in Big Spring, Texas. Gary worked in the oilfield industry until a tragic explosion occurred, leaving him as the sole survivor. After leaving the oilfield industry, Gary became a skilled mechanic. He was a man of the arts, loving to spend his free time writing poetry and songs. Gary was a laid-back easy-going person who had no trouble making friends. He could spend all day fishing, relaxing in the calm of the water. If the weather kept him from being out on the water, Gary would watch old western movies. He greatly admired John Wayne and saw every single one of his films at least twice.

Gary has left this world to be reunited with his parents, Wilburn Donald Lewis and Wanda Sue (Hight) Lewis; his brother-in-law, Eddie Bailey; his niece, Krystal Bailey and his stepson, Jacob Pilkington.

Gary will be forever missed by his sisters Karen Bailey and Margie Lewis; his brother, Donald Lewis; his daughters, Gina Marie Lewis and Micha Renee Saldana; his sons, Geoffrey Michael Lewis and Adam Wade Lewis; his thirteen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many many friends.

Due to family concerns over the recent Covid-19 activity they request that an invitation be received from the family to attend the services.

A Visitation will be held at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church on December 23, 2020 from 1;00 PM to 2:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church on December 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM.

Internment will follow at LuQueen Cemetery.
