IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Fred Nelson
Harvell
December 17, 1958 – March 7, 2021
Fred was born on December 17, 1958 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Sylvia and Franklin Harvell. On July 8, 1989 he married the love of his life, Judy Harvell. Together, they raised four beautiful children, Misty, Bryan, Matt, and Ashley.
Fred was an honest, loyal, and hardworking family man. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was taking his children and grandchildren hunting or taking his boat on the water for night fishing. He never met a stranger in his life and was highly respected and loved by everyone. Fred was known as a jack of all trades; he was a self-made carpenter and mechanic. He spent many hours fixing up old cars with his sons while listening to Classic Rock. Fred was often attending swap meets and gun shows, but his favorite memories came from the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Fred will be remembered as a jokester always keeping a smile on everyone's faces.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Judy Harvell; children, Misty Harvell (Azle, TX), Bryan Harvell (Boyd, TX), Matt Harvell (Azle, TX), and Ashley Harvell (Azle, TX); eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Franklin Harvell (Azle, TX) and Frank S. Harvell (Alabama); two sisters, Debbie Brunner (Lexington, TX) and Diane Harvell Naish (Alabama); and a host of friends who became family.
He is preceded in passing by his father, Franklin D. Harvell, and his mother, Sylvia Campbell.
