Frances Maria Jones

1929 - 2023

Frances Maria Jones, 93, of Azle, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 8, 2023.  She was born on August 15, 1929 in Mansfield, Texas.  Frances was one of eleven children born to Jack and Thirsa Long.
She enjoyed being outdoors, whether she was enjoying quiet time by the ocean or out working in her yard.  Frances spent many hours in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for her family.  She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Lakeside and loved her church family deeply. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Her heart of gold will truly be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Frances has been reunited with her parents and all of her siblings in God's eternal kingdom.
She will be deeply and lovingly remembered by her son, Kenneth Jones and wife, Linda; grandsons, Joe and Jay Jones; great-grandson, Ricky Jones; numerous family members from Texas and California; and a loving church family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be held at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
