Floyd Ray Benson Jr.
1961 - 2019

Floyd Ray Benson Jr. was born on May 17, 1961 to his parents, Floyd Ray Benson Sr. and Carolyn Lee Frazee-Benson in Fort Worth, Texas. Floyd returned home to his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2019 at his home in Azle, Texas.

Floyd met and later married the love of his life, Kimberly Sue Sanford on March 10, 2006. They have been married for thirteen years. Floyd led an interesting life with his work history. He worked at Buz Post and Hudiburg Chevrolet as a mechanic. His last employer was Wal-Mart. While Floyd was always proud of the work he did, he poured his heart and soul into his family and friends. The people in his life meant everything to him.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Kimberly and her three children; Imogen, Andrie and James Lee. Floyd also leaves behind his two daughters, Elizabeth Niewoehner and husband, Adam and Christina Benson; his brother, Scott Benson; his amazing and beautiful granddaughters, Tiffany and Natalie Dutton. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Melissa.

A 2nd Vistation Service will be on December 30, 2019 from 10AM - 11AM at Legacy Church of Christ at 8801 Mid Cities Blvd, N. Richland Hills, Texas 76182,

A Funeral Service will be on December 30, 2019 at 11AM at Legacy Church of Christ at 8801 Mid Cities Blvd, N. Richland Hills, Texas 76182,

A Committal Service will be on December 30, 2019 following the Funeral Service at Sunset Cemetery at highway 287 to Exit 511 at Sunset Texas

A Reception will be held at Legacy Church of Christ at 8801 Mid Cities Blvd, N. Richland Hills, Texas 76182, following the Committal Service.
