Elias (Ely) Guy Suniga

Elias (Ely) Guy Suniga, 31 of Fort Worth left us to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.  Ely was born in San Antonio, TX to Suzie Gurule and Abel Suniga, Sr. Although he was born in San Antonio, he grew up and was raised in the Southside of Fort Worth, Texas.

Ely had a passion for life, recording music and spending time with his children, family and friends.  If you knew Ely, you would forever remember how loud he was and that infectious laugh he had.  He could not just walk in the door quietly, that was just not him. Ely loved his two children and loved hanging out with them.  Although Ely was only with us for 31 years, he lived a full life not wanting or needing for anything all because of his loving Mother.

Ely will be deeply and lovingly missed by his mother, Suzie Gurule of Fort Worth; his brother, Abel Suniga, Jr.; his father, Abel Suniga, Sr., and his wife, Angela Suniga. He is also survived by his children, Crissie Elyse Suniga and Christian Guy Suniga; his aunts, Diana Gurule-Copado, Diamen Zuniga, Shannen Ramirez-Carisalez, Hilda Suniga, Rosita Mendoza, Elvira Garcia, Tina B. Castanon; his uncles, Mike Ramirez, Victor Suniga, Joe Castanon, Anthony Castanon, along with numerous cousins and so many family members and friends that will miss him forever.

He is preceded in death by his Popo, Gilberto A. Gonzalez; his Nana, Carolina G. Gonzalez, and his uncles, Guy Angel Gurule, Danny Castanon and Miguel Castanon.

The family would like to thank Jorge and Diane Guzman, who were special people in Ely's life, they loved him and treated him like he was one of their own.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home.

A rosary prayer will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, beginning at 6:30 PM at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home.
