Edward Allen Peters
1956 - 2023
Edward Allen Peters, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord, free of pain, on February 9, 2023. He was born on November 23, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles Edward Peters and Arlette Reimann. Edward proudly served his country as a Radio Operator for the United States Army. He was an expert of any and all music history, and had a soft spot for animals, especially the ones he rescued. He was often found cheering on his favorite team, the Chicago Blackhawks, anytime they played. Edward lived for the Lord and never failed to spread His word. He was a proud of the two boys he raised, and bragged about each of them to anyone who would take the time to listen. Edward was also a protective and loyal husband. Of all the memories he made throughout his life, his best ones were made when he was surrounded by his family.
Edward will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Renee Peters; sons, David Peters, Michael Peters, and Jason Kelsey; grandchildren, Ethan Peters, Destiny Kelsey, and J.C. Kelsey; sister, Kathy Mizialko; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park beginning at 10:00 AM.
