In Loving Memory of Edmond Stovall
Sunrise February 26, 1962 and Sunset January 31, 2026
Edmond Stovall was born on February 26, 1962 in Los Angeles, California to James and Kathleen Stovall. On the day that Edmond was born Mother was in the Delivery Room and Papa was in ICU. That Day the hospital allowed all of us to see our father. The nurse brought Edmond to our father; Papa held Edmond closely to his heart and gently squeezed him. He tenderly kissed him on his forehead and on his little cheek, and said, "I Love You Son! If I don't make it, then take care of your mother for me. Oh how I wish that my eyes could see you all grow up!" As tears streamed down his face! Then, he hugged and kissed us all, one by one and told is how he loves us all so much. And my eyes saw Papa's last request fulfilled full circle.
That 'Take Care of Your Mother Mantle' Fell on Edmond and he alone did just that, to the end of her life. He daily attended to her personal needs. Even though we all love and did all the we could do for our Mother we lived our lives, but she was his life.
Brother won reward after award for being the Number One Real Estate Agent in his office. Then, he moved onto Accounting and excelled in that field too!
Even though in the last years of his life he faced many health challenges, yet he endured them all masterfully!
I called him 'My Tough Soldier Brother'
The Word Says,
"Endure Hardness as A Good Soldier of Jesus Christ !! 2 Tim. 2:3
And he did that valiantly!
"For many are the afflictions of the Righteous. But, the Lord delivers them out of them all!' Psalms 34:19
His medical challenges never changed his love for us, nor did they change our love for him! He loved us all and we all love him! He leaves behind his Sisters, Natalie and Valerie and Brothers Arnold and Elliott with their beautiful wives, and many Nieces and Nephews and their children and many Dear Friends.
