Douglas was born on August 25, 1991 in Dallas County to Doug Barnes and Julie Hutchison. From a young age, his love for Christ was deep, and he often spent time reading the Bible and going to church. Douglas was fascinated by trains and frequently road into Denton always making sure to stop by the old soda shop for one of their famous Root Beer Floats. He worked for ATT & TCU Stadiums and also at the Airport. In 2016, Douglas inherited his Grandmother's rock collection after her passing and continued to add to it. His allure was with more than just rocks; he also collected arrow heads and fossils. For hours, Douglas could research ships, especially the Titanic, and his family ancestry. He traveled to many Peach Festivals and Flea Markets and to LA to see the big city, but his favorite place to go was to his mother's house to spend time with his mother, and sister, Sausha (Mini Schnauzer) Douglas loved grape nut cereal, maple and brown sugar oatmeal, classic cars, and playing mind games. Above all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family. His pure heart and contagious laughter will be missed by all.
Douglas will forever live in the hearts of his parents, Doug Barnes and Julie Wood; brother, Thomas Barnes and wife, Amberlynn; niece, Katherine; and nephews, Benjamin and Thomas; his Papa, Tommy Hutchison; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
