Dorothy Mae Thornton 1938-2021

Dorothy Mae Thornton was born on June 11, 1938, in Quanah, Texas to the late Bill and Myrtle Brown.

Dorothy was a wonderful mother, sister, granny and friend. She enjoyed volunteering her time at VFW Post 2137 where she was a lifetime member, past president, and past district president.

Dorothy is reunited with her parents, Bill and Myrtle Brown; husband of forty-six years Dan Thornton; son, Stevie Bob; daughter, Beth; and brother Gary.

She is survived by her daughters, Anna and husband Mitch, Prissy and Mike; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
