Donnie Lehr was reunited with his loving wife Sherry, Wed. April 27th, 2022. He was born on April 24, 1958 in Fort Worth, TX to Paul Marshall and Freda Elizabeth Westland Lehr.  Donnie graduated from Trimble Tech High School and went on to meet the love of his life, Sherry, whom he dated for four years prior to getting married on December 31, 1976.  He was a proud pressman for the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram for over 30 years. Donnie loved to fish and complain. He named himself a "professional pessimist." He was a member of First Baptist Church of Castle Hills.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 40 years, Sherry Lehr, grandson Clayton Booth, parents Paul and Freda Lehr, sisters Linda Mosley and Paula Briggs, brother David "Bubba" Lehr and twin brother Ronnie Lehr.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Heath and husband Kenneth Heath of Azle, his son Marshall Lehr and wife Stacy Bolen Lehr of North Richland Hills, and son Donald Lehr II and wife Jacque of Iowa Park, 9 grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Jordan, Noah, Ema, and Laken Lehr, Justin and Alexander Heath and Amber Booth, and great-granddaughter
Faith, his best friend Jerry Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
