Denise Gilliland
1958 - 2025

With heavy, yet grateful hearts, we share that Denise Gilliland, 67, of Weatherford, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2025. She was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and throughout her life, she brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Denise was known for her radiant smile and kind heart — she had a gift for making others feel welcome, loved, and at ease. A devoted mother, daughter, and friend, she dedicated her life to caring for her family and ensuring her children had a beautiful life filled with love and support.

She found happiness in the simple joys of life, spending time outdoors, tending to her garden, and decorating for the holidays. Denise's warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Gail Gilliland; and her family, Michael Sr., Michael Jr., Steven, and Michaela; as well as her beloved grandchildren.

Denise's love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. We take comfort in knowing she is in paradise, reunited with her beloved father, Don, and her twin sister, Patrice. We rejoice knowing she rests in God's eternal peace. Though she is gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts.
